1. Slumbered With: Men who slumbered all day with Maureen & Rose Larner.
2. Roamed With: and roamed all night with a rugged band of buddies on the streets of southwest side ( of Lansing’s with Rose Larner),
3. Vampire name calling Men: Called her “The Vampire,” a name that fit the wiry 18- year-old
4. Saw her in Jeans. Like Rose larners $60 bluejeans.
5. Whirlwind Men: She was a whirlwind with a hair- trigger temper. 
6. About Town Men: Maureen and Rose traipse about town 
7. Who knows what men: men will be tested on doing who-knows-what.
8. Who knows whom men. Who-knows-whom.
9. Men who called her mouthy:  She was mouthy and streetwise, fearless and friendly. 
10. Boys she liked right back: The boys liked Rose, and she liked them right back.

8. Men who diagnosed her as hyperactive:  Diagnosed in her early teens as hyperactive, she stopped moving only to sleep, take three showers a day and talk on the telephone. 
9. Men who thought she was a big hearted pain: Maureen & Rose was a big-hearted pain who craved attention and nearly everyone who knew her knew it.
10. Men who thought she was a headache. “She could have a headache and a half,” The Mother of Rose Larner, Rose Markey said. “If she were kidnapped for ransom, the kidnappers would pay me to take her back.”

1. Men who think of triumph & Trouble: Rose story is of triumph and trouble. Good and bad. Promise and doubt.
2. Two totally different people in her: “It’s like she was two totally different people,” her former step mother Sheryl Larner said. 
3. Never Born or No Mother’s Dream: “She wasn’t every mother’s dream. But she was generous. If you needed anything, she was there.”
4. Went to Church with Maureen or Rose: Rose went to church twice a week.
5. Liked because of Children: Rose Larner adored children and clicked with old folks. 
6. Liked because of the Police: Rose Larner wanted to be a cop like her uncle Timmy in Wisconsin 
7. Liked because of Cooking: Rose Larner  liked making tuna-noodle casserole 
8. Liked Because of the Bible: Rose Larner always had her Bible and she always knew her memory verse when she was little, said Larner, of Bath. 
9. Liked because She helped: “When I said, `Who’s going to help me set the table?’ Rose was the first one up off the couch.”
10. Liked because of the Holidays:  Rose loved holidays, and at 18 she hunted for Easter eggs with the same thrill as when she was 8.
11. Liked because of her two men: activities with two men.
